SWAINSBORO—Funeral for Glean Otis Wynn, 74, was held Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Elder Alex Worthen presiding and Pastor Alfred Caston officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. He died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Emanuel Medical Center after an extended illness.

Emanuel Arts Council is looking for lots of singers 18 years old and older to join a Community Chorus. The chorus will present Music Americana, a program of Traditional Folk Songs, Spirituals, Broadway Show Tunes and Hymns by American composers. Williams captures low medalist honors

Tyler Williams, a junior golfer at David Emanuel Academy, fired a one over par 73 to capture low medalist honors at the Trinity Christian School Invitational Tournament in Dublin last week.
