Troop #30872 visit Sunny Day Farm for good cause

Girl Scout Troop #30872 recently attended Emma’s Extravaganza hosted at Sunny Day Farm in Louisville in support of Emma Freddid Hinson’s battle against cancer. Several troops participated in activities like a petting zoo and corn pit. In doing so, the girls received a farm patch.

Two sentenced in superior court

During Emanuel County Superior Court’s July 2019 term, the following were indicted:

Robert John Good negotiated a plea of guilty on one count possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to three years probation and was fined $1,000.

EGSC Circle K Club plans hurricane relief event

East Georgia State College’s Circle K Club will be hosting a car wash for hurricane relief. The car wash will be Wednesday, September 25 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in parking lot P8 on EGSC’s Swainsboro Campus, located between the main academic buildings.
