George Archer negotiated a plea of guilty on one count computer pornography and was sentenced to 20 years, serve two.

City of Twin City receives $750,000 grant

Twin City Mayor Matt Donaldson and Mayor Pro Tem Artie Fields attended the Georgia Department of Community Affairs Conference in LaGrange on October 16 to accept the city’s newest grant award. Due to overcrowding, the Betty Gambrell Animal Shelter is in critical need to adopt out as many dogs as possible in the next two weeks. Through November 9, all adoptions will be free of charge—thanks to the Emanuel County Humane Society.

Included in the free adoptions is the fee, neutering or spaying, plus rabies vaccination.
