Officers with the Twin City Police Department (TCPD) reported…
Complainant reported a gasoline drive-off offense.
Officer responded to an address on Kite Road in reference to a simple battery offense.
Complainant reported theft by taking.
Officer responded to the area of Oglesby Pond Road in reference to a report of reckless driving by a minor on a golf cart. Contact was made with involved parties who were advised of involved legalities of the situation.
Officers responded to an address on South Swift Street in reference to a disturbance. While on scene, officers learned that the offender was in possession of a sawed-off shotgun or rifle and other firearms and was a convicted felon.
Complainant reported a counterfeit $100 bill.
Officer responded to the area of Oglesby Pond Road, once more, in reference to a complaint of a minor recklessly driving a golf cart on the roadway and striking a mailbox. Contact was made with involved parties and a citation was issued.
Complainant reported a theft of power hand tools.
Officer responded to an address on 5th Avenue in reference to a complainant reporting an offender entered her residence and tased the complainant. Officers responded to the area and no contact was made with offender.
Complainant reported financial transaction card fraud.
While conducting an investigation regarding a financial transaction card fraud, officer came in contact with a vehicle with a suspended license plate. Contact was made with driver. During this contact, an odor of marijuana was detected. Upon further investigation, officer recovered 16 grams of marijuanan and two handguns, one in which was reported to be stolen from Tennessee.Citations were issued to the driver and passenger.
