A private graveside service will be conducted Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ervin Stapleton officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Farmer, Wesley Peebles, Dylan Dixon, Tim Lamb, David Thurman, and Grey Thurman.
Born is Swainsboro in 1946, Kathy Diane Farmer Youngblood was the daughter of Joe and Ida Mae Faircloth Farmer. She worked for many years at Otasco True Value but retired from the Emanuel County Voter Registration Office. Youngblood was very social; she loved talking to people and was truly a good listener. She also loved writing and she loved planting flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Michael Todd Durden.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Youngblood of Swainsboro; a daughter, Kellye D. Thurman (Grey) of Swainsboro; stepdaughter Lynn Duvall (Lee) of North Augusta, South Carolina; sister Frances Johnson (Bill) of Swainsboro; brother Joe Farmer (Gwen) of Swainsboro; and grandchildren Aidan and Anna Thurman and Melanie and Dana Duvall.
Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
