Graveside service for Carl “Buck” Bryant, 46 of Swainsboro. will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum with Rev. Chad Kennison officiating. A walk-in viewing was held from 1 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Chapman Funeral Home. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, the 10 people, 6 feet rule was enforced during the walk-in viewing. He passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mr. Carl “Buck” Bryant was born June 12, 1973 in Swainsboro to Carl Bryant and Susie Fleming Bryant. He loved working on and restoring old cars, being outdoors, and grilling. He was good with his hands and was a free spirit. Bryant loved Christmas and spending time with Sassy, his dog. He was the owner and operator of Kustom Kreationz. Bryant was of the Baptist faith and was proceeded in death by his father.

Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of 27 years, Tessie Clifton Bryant of Swainsboro; son, C.J. Bryant of Swainsboro; mother, Susie Fleming Bryant of Swainsboro; sisters, Linda Hairr (Johnny) of Swainsboro and Barbara Jones (Allan) of Chatsworth; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Pallbearers will be David Hughes, Kelly Kirkland, Josh Hodges, Jimmy Hodges, Charlie Chowder, Jody Powell, Gaines Cannady, and Jody Gibson.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.

    This was my son in heart not blood . I love him and will miss his picking little self the rest of my life. But know he is pain free and smiling down on his family. You will be missed .
