Officers with the Swainsboro Police Department (SPD) reported…

November 21

Complainant reported a damaged vehicle.

Victim reported theft of lost or mislaid property.

Officer made a traffic stop in reference to a speeding driver. During the stop, it was learned that the operative vehicle had no active insurance nor valid registration.

November 22

Officer responded to an East Pine Street address in reference to criminal trespass of private property.

Officer responded to an address on South Main Street in reference to terroristic threats and acts.

Officer made a traffic stop in reference to suspended registration and invalid insurance coverage.

November 23

Officer responded to an address on Rainbow Ridge in reference to three possible prowlers. Upon arrival, officer made no contact with any possible prowlers.

Officer responded to a 911 dispatch call to an address on West Moring Street in reference to a set of keys being found on a table inside the location.

November 24

Complainant reported a damaged vehicle.

Officer made a traffic stop in reference to a headlight being out. During the traffic stop, officer detected a strong odor of marijuana, which was eventually located along with a pistol. An arrest was made.

Complainant reported a simple battery to occur between said person and former significant other after the complainant attempted to take a phone away from alleged offender. It was further reported that the involved offender’s wife has been making threatening calls to complainant.

Complainant reported a damaged vehicle.

November 25

Officer made a traffic stop after observing a driver fail to stop at a stop sign. During the traffic stop, it was learned that the driver’s license was suspended. An arrest was made.

Complainant reported receiving harassing phone calls from his current girlfriend’s ex-significant other.

Victim reported terroristic threats and acts by an unknown male subject.

November 26

Complainant reported forgery in the first degree after receiving counterfeit money.

Victim reported theft by taking of $1,500 or less.

Officer responded to an address on North Anderson Drive in reference to disorderly conduct.

Officer responded to an address on Project Street in reference to a damaged vehicle.

Officer responded to an address on East Main Street in reference to criminal trespass. Upon arrival, complainant reported several vehicle being damaged with items being stolen from each. It was further reported the vehicles being spray painted and tagged with gang tags.
