The Emanuel County Historic Society is proud to announce that Harveys Supermarket in Swainsboro will make a $1 contribution for every community bag purchased during the month of December. Purchasing a qualifying bag is an excellent, useful way to make a contribution to the local society.

Plastic bags fly in the wind at dumpsters; the community bags, on the other hand, will stay put and will not end up in dumpsters because they are so handy. The bags are colorful, large enough to be useful anywhere besides grocery shopping, and, therefore, are reusable. The historic society urges all of the public to purchase one or more of these bags beginning December 1 at Harveys Supermarket in Swainsboro.
