Final 2019 Total Wellness Session set for November 19
By Harley Strickland, East Georgia State College | October 30, 2019 9:24 am
The final session of the 2019 Total Wellness Series is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, at noon. The session will be held at the Sudie A. Fulford Community Learning Center at East Georgia State College’s Swainsboro campus. The topic, Fighting Depression & Loneliness at the Holidays, will be an especially relevant topic as we approach the holiday season.
While holidays are supposed to be a time of joy and celebration, for some people, it’s a time of sadness. The stress and anxiety during November and December can often create loneliness and a lack of fulfillment. This session will provide valuable tips participants can use to make this holiday season a better season for them and those around them.
CarePartners of Georgia will sponsor the final session. There is no cost to participate, and enrollment is limited to 20. The session will feature lunch, a presentation, handouts and door prizes. Pre-registration is required and may be made by calling the Sudie A. Fulford Community Learning Center at (478)289-2464.
