Fifteen to compete for local pageant titles this weekend

The Miss Emanuel County/Miss Southeast Georgia Board will proudly present the 42nd Annual Emanuel County and Southeast Georgia Competition on Saturday, October 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the Swainsboro/Emanuel County Auditorium. The pageant will consist of Miss and Outstanding Teen competitions, including interview, talent, evening wear, fitness, and on-stage question.

By the end of the evening, four young women will be crowned to represent the local area in the Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen Pageants to be held in June 2020.

Current queens will return to the stage to entertain the audience. These queens are: Miss Emanuel County’s Outstanding Teen 2019, Savannah Lariscy, and Miss Southeast Georgia’s Outstanding Teen, Caroline Mason. Joining them will be Miss Hummingbird Festival Darlyn Davis. Miss Emanuel County 2018, Destiny Levant, will be welcomed to the stage as mistress of ceremonies.

Candidates in the Outstanding Teen are Marti Ann Bailey of Louisville, Jayden Drake of Richmond Hill, Addie Freeman of Lawrenceville, Kaitlyn Frisk of Brunswick, Abby Henderson of Bristol, Kylin Miller of Vidalia, Sydney Claire Smith of Gibson, and Brooke Story of Bonaire.

Candidates in the Miss division are Gracie Braddy of Vidalia, Jasmyn Cornell of Augusta, Gabrielle D’Alessandro of Pooler, Kirsten Floyd of Hinesville, Allie Griffis of Eastman, Sydney Hillman of Augusta, and Ansleigh Williams of Athens.
