Miss Walden, Mr. Bletcher to exchange vows this fall

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Walden of Metter are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Alysa  Walden, to Bren Bletscher of Gearhart, Oregon.

The bride-elect is a graduate of David Emanuel Academy, the University of Georgia, and the Medical College of Georgia. She is employed as an Emergency RN for Kaiser Permanente in the Portland, Oregon area. 

The future groom is a graduate of Seaside High School, Clackamas Community College, and is currently pursuing an Exercise Science Bachelor’s Degree with Eastern Oregon University. He is employed by the City of Wilsonville as a water treatment operator. 

Miss Walden is the granddaughter of Billy and Hilda Walden of Canoochee, Pat Rountree, and the late George Rountree of Twin City.

Mr. Bletscher is the grandson of Grace Bletscher and the late Robert Bletscher of Milwaukie, Oregon, and the late Author and Betty Beckelhymer of Milwaukie, Oregon. 

The couple will wed October 12, 2019 on the farm of the bride-elect’s grandparents, Billy and Hilda Walden, in Canoochee. Formal invitations will be sent.
