One injured in Swainsboro crash

The driver of a minivan was injured in a crash on Warren Avenue during the afternoon hours of Wednesday, August 6.
EMS, fire, and police were dispatched to a reported vehicle crashed behind a house. Units arrived to find a Ford Windstar van between two houses and into a tree. The male driver was semi-conscious, lying across the front seat. The victim was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters and paramedics and transported to Emanuel Medical Center.
Squad 1 from Swainsboro Fire and officers from Swainsboro Police Department responded to the crash.
