Miss Harrison, Mr. Card wed at Loganville mansion

LaDele Harrison, formally of Cross-Green Community in Emanuel County, was united in holy matrimony to Dexter H. Card on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 12 o’clock in the afternoon. The enchanting Vines Mansion in Loganville was the setting for the nuptials, where Rev. Leonard Perryman served as the officiant. The bride and groom, along with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Harrison Sr., hosted nearly 225 family and friends at the midday event.
As soft melodies played, guests entered the mansion’s east garden to find the ceremony area filled with rows of pristine white chairs. At alternating row ends, bouquets of hydrangea and greenery were gathered by hanging silver tulle bows to enhance the beauty of the outdoor space. A beautiful arch draped in purple tulle and an assortment of flowers served as a welcoming focal point for the event. Just beyond the arch, a white and purple, satin-clothed, round table held the engraved vases used in the sand ceremony and the consecrated cups used for holy communion.
The entrance of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Adele G. Harrison, marked the start of the joyous occasion. Escorted by her son, David Harrison Jr., Mrs. Harrison walked the aisle in a plum-colored Betsy and Adam gathered lace bodice gown. Her seating was followed by the bridal party’s entrance.
The bride’s attendants included Kyndra Cohen, matron of honor; Cherri E. Harrison, maid of honor; Montisa Lawrence, Porcha Cook, Patrina Bright, Tomeka Sutton, and Sade Harrison, bridesmaids; and Simone Harrison and Willow Jackson, junior bridesmaids. Flower girls Audrey Jackson and Lauren Green rounded out what was affectionately dubbed as “LaDele’s I Do Crew.”
