Grand prize opponent roll call: Tucker Morris, Aiden Linton, Elijah Linton, Paris Tarver, Jace Henry, Jordan Bonilla, Allison Helton, Ryder Tharpe, Reagan McKenzie, Charlie McNeely, Millie Watkins, Jackson Hodges, Kellan McNeely, Brett Way, Raelyn Roming, Gracie Blount, Briandra Rainey, Lakelynn Gay, Remington Davis, Marshall Way, Robert and Virginia Palumbo, Rayney Tuttle, and Jada and Jacob Lewis…

Wait, your name wasn’t listed in the above-mentioned roll call? Let’s change that!

In an effort to strengthen relations with area youth, Swainsboro Police Department began hosting its inaugural event this summer, Treasure Hunt for Kids!

Specifically for children between the ages of 5 and 12, the program consists of 25 painted stones containing the acronym “SPD” on one side and an officer’s badge number on the other. Each stone is hidden by these officers throughout the City of Swainsboro throughout the month of July.

Clues to find the stones are then posted periodically on the department’s Facebook page. Once a stone is located, the finder is to follow the instructions on the stone and take it to SPD to redeem a prize! The names of the winners (mentioned above as updated) will be placed on a list and entered into a grand prize drawing set for the end of the program month, July.

Prizes can be redeemed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the police headquarters. Stay tuned to Swainsboro Police Department’s Facebook page for the latest clues!
