Manna truck to visit Summertown

   On Tuesday, September 18, a manna truck will be located at Summertown Baptist Church from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. All are invited.

Bethel UMC announces homecoming

   Beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 9, Bethel United Methodist Church (UMC), located on Cow Ford Bridge Road in Kite, will host its 182nd homecoming event since its establishment in 1836. Those in attendance are requested to bring a covered dish, as a covered-dish lunch will be served after service. Plates, cups, forks, and tea will be provided. Blood drive to be held at FBC–Swainsboro

Lady Dawgs score 22 with two wins

   The ECI softball team picked up a couple wins last week, defeating Swainsboro and Wheeler County both in five innings.
   Playing larger class teams in a couple of tournaments early in the season is paying off for the Lady Dawgs. During the two games, the Bulldogs’ offense scored 22 runs while the pitching and defense allowed just 3 runs to cross the plate.

Team Effort to host clothes-give-away ministry this weekend
