Goosby named Assistant Director of Student Life

Ryan signs with Kennesaw State

East Georgia State College Bobcat Baseball player Max Ryan recently signed with Kennesaw State University. Ryan came to EGSC as a transfer from the University of South Alabama. This left-handed relief pitcher had a great Fall and was looked at by several schools before selecting KSU.

He spent his early years in Augusta, Ga and Columbia, SC. He was born in Staunton, VA. He died February 3, 1924 in Washington, DC.

Memorial services for Judy E. Mathews of Wadley were held Monday, Dec. 26, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Hugh Baxter officiating. She died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016 at Jefferson Hospital in Louisville.
