Ms. Kara Wells class at Swainsboro Elementary School has been learning about community helpers. The students learned who community helpers are, what they do, where they work, and the vehicles they drive. As part of their discussions, several local community helpers visited the classroom to discuss their roles in the community. Among these helpers were Rita Faulker (City Council Member), Mr. Carl Brantley (Firefighter), Mr. William and Mrs. Sarah Lumley (Farmers) and Mr. Pete Sutherland (EMT). The students had a great time learning about each of these people and what they do to help our community.
