Welcome reception for new doctors slated

Emanuel Medical Center is hosting a welcome reception to introduce Swainsboro’s newest physicians on Wednesday, Nov. 17 from 4 until 5:30 p.m.. The event will be held in the cafeteria.
Kathleen O’Leary, MD, Henry Taylor, DPM, Geoffery Connor, MD, R. Steven Riddick, MD, John Schoell, MD, Andrew Cichelli, MD, Harinderjit Singh, MD and John Imhoff, MD all have recently started providing medical services in this area. “The community is invited to stop in and meet our newest physicians,” said Beth Spencer, director of community relations.
Psychiatrist — Kathleen O’Leary, MD, recently joined the staff at Emanuel Medical Center Behavioral Health Services with Gwen Moddrell, MD. Dr. O’Leary completed residency at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She and her husband live in Swainsboro and her office is located at 502 W. Moring Street.
Podiatrist –Henry Taylor, DPM, established a full-time practice in Swainsboro July 6. He is board certified in foot surgery and reconstruction of rear foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Taylor received his doctor of podiatric medicine from Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He performed three years of surgical residency at the New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ and his office is located at 120 B Victory Drive.
Allergies and Asthma –Geoffery Connor, MD, specializes in allergies and asthma and sees patients in Swainsboro on Friday afternoons. His office is located at 125 A Victory Drive and has been practicing medicine in Vidalia for over ten years. Dr. Connor earned his medical degree and completed his residency from the Medical College of Georgia. He and his wife have two children.
Thoracic & Vascular Surgery – Dr. Riddick is providing services in Swainsboro each Wednesday at 125-A Victory Drive. He is certified by The American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Riddick attended medical school at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island and completed training in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Dr. Riddick sees patients on a referral basis in Swainsboro, Vidalia and Reidsville.
Pulmonology – Dr. John Schoell sees patients at 125-A Victory Drive each Monday and Dr. Andrew Cichelli sees patients the first, third and fifth Thursday of each month.
Opthalmology – Dr. John Imhoff is in Swainsboro the second or fourth Thursday of each month and Dr. Harinderjit Singh sees patients the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 125-A Victory Drive.
