DEA finishes fifth in cross country

David Emanuel Academy fielded it’s first ever boys varsity cross country team this fall and finished fifth at the GISA region 2-AA meet held at Trinity Christian school in Dublin.

Tyler Edenfield, Swainsboro High School junior, was recently selected to represent Emanuel County in the U. S. Senate Youth Program competition.

The son of Melissa Durden and Roy Frank Edenfield of Swainsboro, Edenfield was selected for his leadership abilities and activities by a panel of out-of-county judges. Scouts visit Swainsboro City Hall

Members of Pack 75, Scorpions, recently visited Swainsboro City Hall and met with Mayor Ricky Stevens, who explained the duties of his office and responsibilities of elected officials.
