At Swainsboro-Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce Tuesday, Jan. 18, Phil Jacobs, president of Georgia BellSouth Telecommunications Inc. made the official announcement that the city of Swainsboro had been chosen as the first certified city to participate in its Connected Community project. Cindy Lynch, owner operator of Bangles hair salon, has been missing since Tuesday evening Jan. 19. Lynch, who was living on a cabin cruiser boat docked at Thunderbolt Marina, was reported missing by her husband, Chet Lynch, on Wednesday.
