KITE—Funeral services for Bernard Clayton Todd, 80, was held Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Kite Church of God with Rev. Allen Meeks officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery. He died Wednesday, April 20, 2005.

Bomb threats reported

Swainsboro High School officials reported receiving a bomb threat over the telephone Friday, April 22, a little after 2 p.m. All students and personnel were evacuated.

A woman driving on Pendleton Springs Rd. reported she hit a deep rut in the road, causing the bumper guard of her vehicle to be knocked off.

A Robin Rd., Oak Park, woman reported an unknown person in a truck sits by her mailbox every morning. She said the person also has a dog in the back of the truck that barks and wakes her up.
