Bostwick receives award

Liz Bostwick, formerly of Twin City, has been awarded Nurse of the Year award at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.

She is an assistant nurse manager of a 28-bed couplet care unit. She has been employed at Scott & White for 16 years.

She is the daughter of Mrs. Anner Stokes of Twin City and the late David Stokes.

    Vernon Hardy, president of Swainsboro Rotary Club, attended the 48th Annual District Conference at the Radisson Riverfront Hotel in Augusta on April 15 to 17.

    The club was presented with a certificate of recognition and a presidential citation banner for the 2004-2005 year.
