VIDALIA—Funeral for Rev. Otto Robinson Jr., 73, was held Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Love and Rev. Mike Poppell officiating. Burial was in Pinecrest Cemetery. He died Friday. Jan. 14, 2005 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia after an extended illness.

BOE announces dates

Superintendent Butch Frye announced upcoming dates that will be of particular interest to Emanuel County parents.

Report cards will be issued on Wednesday, Jan. 12. Parents will have an opportunity to discuss their children’s progress with their teachers on Jan. 13, which has been designated as a parent-teacher conference day. Students will attend school only during the first half of that day.
