Williams captures low medalist honors

Tyler Williams, a junior golfer at David Emanuel Academy, fired a one over par 73 to capture low medalist honors at the Trinity Christian School Invitational Tournament in Dublin last week.

“This is a great accomplishment for Tyler” said DEA golf Coach Glenn Cardell. “There were 18 teams and over 90 players competing in this tournament”.

County approves building permit fee

In a unanimous vote by Emanuel County Commission Monday night, a measure was passed to require any and all new construction or erection of site built, manufactured or modular single or multi-family homes to obtain a permit prior to placement. The new ordinance will take effect Jan. 1, 2006.
