Deputies recover stolen vehicle, seize drugs

According to Emanuel County Sheriff J. Tyson Stephens, on Wednesday, March 16 at around 7:15 p.m., Emanuel County Sheriff’s Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a white van on West Moring Street in Swainsboro for a traffic infraction. The driver was unable to produce a license and the tag came back as a stolen vehicle from Bibb County. The driver was arrested.

MIDVILLE—Funeral for Johnny Ray “Buddy” Brinson, 58, was held Saturday, March 18, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Hines Baptist Church with Rev. Homer Aspray officiating. Burial was in Hines Cemetery. He died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at his residence after an extended illness.
