Empty Stocking Fund

Once again, Swainsboro Jaycees have collected toys for Emanuel County families during its annual Empty Stocking Fund. The presents were collected at Northland Cable. Helping sort the gifts are Northland Cable employees Becky Williams and Dottie Durden; and Jaycees Chairperson Chris Griner.

    Jordyn Bell, daughter of Scottie and Lori Bell of Swainsboro, celebrated her birthday Nov. 14 at a party at Swainsboro Shrine Club. She was 2 years old this day.

    The theme for the party was “Strawberry Shortcake”. Decorations included a “Happy Birthday” banner displayed with theme tablecloths and centerpiece.
