Airport to get new tug vehicle By MICK KERSEY

During the regular monthly meeting of the Emanuel County Commission Monday Night, board members approved the purchase of a new aircraft tug vehicle. The price tag will be just under 19 thousand dollars for the new device and will be funded through remaining money from capital improvement grants instead of county funds. Commissioners commented that the new tug will allow for more accuracy in the placement of parked aircraft.

Cecil Fagler to be interviewed about WWII at library

Cecil Fagler, World War II veteran, will be interviewed at Franklin Memorial Library on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 7 p.m. Mr. Fagler was in the U. S. Navy and served aboard the heavy cruiser, the USS Chester.
