The president, who was surrounded by bureaucratic bootlickers and liberal legislators, said the new law helps the federal government “protect the American people” from terrorists. There was a lot of local participation in the event and many Shriners from throughout the region brought their own special fun to the festivities.

Very mild temperatures have arrived in Emanuel County this week! This reading on Monday, Jan. 3 at Citizens Bank shows a balmy 73 degrees. So far, forecasters are predicting a pleasant rest of the week. Let’s hope so!
