    SOPERTON—Graveside service for Landry Peyton Steptoe of Soperton was held Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Soperton with Rev. Lamar Kersey and Rev. June Scott officiating. He died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.

    He was the infant son of Tracy and Amy Robertson Steptoe of Soperton and was the grandson of the late Donald Robertson.

    Billingslea to speak at Smith Grove MBC

    Burrell C. Billingslea will be guest speaker at Smith Grove Missionary Baptist Church’s service entitled “The African Diaspora” Sunday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m.

    Billingslea is division manager in the Office of Workforce Development at Fulton County Human Services department. He oversees a division with 80 full-time employees and over 200 temporary employees, interns and apprentices. He is responsible for a $5 million budget.

    An Advance St. man reported someone keyed and rolled toilet paper on his car.

    A woman at Wal-Mart reported losing her cell phone.
