Karen Faircloth of Swainsboro killed three gobblers opening day, Saturday, March 26, on a farm in Emanuel County. Karen was able to get three with the expert calling of Jimmy Bush and Darrell Wilson.

    Robert and Yadi Rankine of Swainsboro announce the birth of their daughter, Melissa Leigh Rankine, March 25 at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro. Maternal grandparents are Norma and Enrique Nin of Miami, Fla. Paternal grandparents are Robert and Debbie Rankine of Swainsboro. Melissa has a brother, Brandon Rankine, and sister, Michelle Rankine.


    TCE to hold spring registration for kindergarten

    Twin City Elementary School will hold its annual spring registration for kindergarten students entering school in the fall of the 2005-2006 school year. Registration will be April 11-15 and April 18-22.

    Interested parties should drop by the school office on Parrish Pond Road to register the child. Parents need to bring the following documents with them:
