Claire Lynch Band

The Claire Lynch Band will perform at East Georgia College in the auditorium of the Luck Flanders Gambrell Center on April 15 at 7 p.m. Special guest with Claire Lynch will be Jim Hurst, Missy Raines and David Harvey. Wildlife, land management seminar slated April 9

Jenkins County is hosting an area Wildlife and Land Management Seminar on Saturday, April 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jenkins County Ag Center. This free educational seminar is designed for private landowners, hunting clubs, wildlife managers, and others to enable them to make better decisions regarding wildlife and land management. Megan M. Taylor, center, of Swainsboro High School, was one of more than 200 high school seniors who attended the third annual Scholar’s Day at Georgia Southern University. To be invited, students must score a minimum of 1200 on the SAT with a strong academic grade point average in high school courses.
