Soldiers from Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 214th Field Artillery, Georgia Army National Guard in Waynesboro, performed their Annual Weapons Qualification at Ft. Gordon Jan. 7-9. Soldiers qualified with their individual weapon, the M16A2 rifle. The qualification range consists of 40 multiple pop-up targets varying from distances of 50 to 300 meters. Sgt. Coach Mark Richt to speak at Sunshine House benefit

University of Georgia Head Football Coach Mark Richt will speak in Sandersville Thursday, Feb. 10, 7 p.m. at a fundraiser for The Sunshine House Children’s Advocacy Center in Swainsboro. Tickets are $35 each for the event which also includes dinner, special presentations and door prizes.
