Miss Jessica Johnson and Sam English, future bridal couple, were honored Saturday night, March 12, at a couples/handyman shower at the Woodmen of World Lodge. The party was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Howell Sharpe and Ms. Amanda Brunger.

    AUGUSTA—Funeral for Remer E. Dasher, 87, was held Monday, March 28, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Fleming Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Atkins and Elder John S. Mikell officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park. He died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home.

    BRUNSWICK—Service for Estelle Sammons McKay, 87, was held Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Miles-Odum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jeffrey F. Martin, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Waycross officiating. Private burial will be held at Kettle Creek Cemetery in Waycross at a later date.
