    TWIN CITY—Funeral for Betty Steele Reynolds, 46, was held Saturday, May 6, 2005 at Emanuel County Institute Auditorium with Rev. Bennie Brinson officiating and Rev.

    Amos Handsom assisting.

    Burial was in Twin City Cemetery. She died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Hospice Savannah.

    Mrs. Steele was a native of Emanuel County where she attended public schools. She was a member of Johnson Chapel Baptist Church in Garfield.

    Sheriff’s Report Domestic incidents, burglaries reported

    Emanuel County Sheriff’s deputies reported burglaries and domestic incidents this week. Cases are:

    May 2 Employee at Allen Enterprises Construction Co.

    reported someone damaged a John Deere tractor.

    May 3 Aquila D. Bethea, 26, 318 W. 4th Ave., Stillmore, was arrested on a bench warrant.

    April M. Sellers, 25, 230 McLeod Dr., Swainsboro, was arrested for speeding and driving while license suspended.

    Franklin Memorial Library received a shipment of new books this week, according to Ann Buxton, assistant library manager.

    Among the titles are James Patterson’s, The Fourth of July, (regular print and large print editions) and Last Call for Blackford Oakes by William F. Buckley, Jr.

    Non-fiction titles include Chicken Soup for the Recovering Soul and “Supernanny” Jo Frost’s How to Get the Best From Your Children.
