Emanuel County Institute student Jeffery Hall was recently elected VOCA Region VI state reporter for the 2000-2001 year. Hall competed with other VOCA members for the position at the Region VI competition at Sander-sville Tech.

The 2005 annual Emanuel County Relay for Life will be held at Tiger Field of Swainsboro High School Friday, April 22 at 7 p.m. The overnight event will conclude on Saturday, April 23, at 7 a.m.
