Miss Jessica Lynn Durden, bride-elect of Mitchell Dewayne Conley, was honored at a miscellaneous shower Saturday, April 30, at Dellwood Baptist Church.

The honoree was attractively attired in a black and white sundress. She was presented a corsage of white daisies with greenery tied with white ribbon.

SWAINSBORO—Graveside services for Don Corbin, 78, will be Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Corbin Cemetery with Rev. Phil Wilson officiating. He died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at his residence after an extended illness.

The late Jody Whetsell of Emanuel County has been featured in the February 2005 National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA) News magazine. Whetsell, well-known for her horsemanship, died Dec.

12, 2004, three days before her 22nd birthday.
