Hi, my twin brother, Leslie Wayne Lockhart, a sergeant in the USMC, is currently serving in Iraq (Fallujah). He got over there sometime in September, after being in Kuwait for a short time. Thanks for all you do in promoting support of soldiers in the armed forces. They really need it.

SWAINSBORO—Graveside service for Paul Tillman Berry, 84, was held Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Mansion Memorial Park Cemetery in Ellenton, Fla. with Rev. Harvey Whidden officiating. Burial was in Mansion Memorial Park Cemetery. He died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004 at Emanuel Medical Center after a brief illness.

SMS releases star, honor rolls

Swainsboro Middle School has released its Star Honor Roll and Honor Roll list for the first nine-week grading period. To be on the Star Honor Roll list students must make a 90 or above in every class. Students included on the Honor Roll list have an average grade of 90 or above.
