Emanuel Medical Center awarded reaccreditation

Emanuel Medical Center underwent and passed a three-year re-accreditation with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The three-day assessment focused on a new methodology that tracked and evaluated the patient. Everything from patient safety to treatment received was evaluated.

    SWAINSBORO—Funeral for Earl Andrew Price, 87, will be held Wednesday, Jan. 19 ,2005 at 2 p.m. in the Bithynia Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Ronnie Webb officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005 at his residence after an extended illness.

    VIDALIA—Funeral for Rev. Otto Robinson Jr., 73, was held Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Love and Rev. Mike Poppell officiating.
