Teacher switch

Swainsboro High School English teacher Jordan Cameron recently taught American Poet Wallace Stevens in World Literature II at East Georgia College. Cameron and Dr. Alan Brasher, who taught Thoreau to Cameron’s American Literature class in March, traded classes in order to facilitate continuity between SHS and EGC English classes. Governor David Emanuel Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution met Thursday, April 14, at 4 p.m. in the George L. Smith Room of Franklin Memorial Library. Terwilliger joins EGC staff

The newest member of the staff at East Georgia College is Agatha Terwilliger, daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Terwilliger.

Terwilliger’s position is accounting clerk in the EGC Business Office. This position was formerly held by Margaret Brantley, who recently retired from the college. A 1997 graduate of Swainsboro High School, she is also a 2001 graduate of East Georgia College and a 2003 graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University.… Read More
