Local church to host pastoral anniversary

   On Sunday, September 23, Willow Spring Missionary Baptist Church will honor Reverend Joel Davis with a ninth annual pastor anniversary. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m., and worship service at 11 a.m. Guest churches will be Johnson Grove, Newton Grove, 2nd McCoy, Skull Creek No. 1, and New Light. Dinner will be served. All are invited.

Two 18-wheelers collide on bypass

   Shortly after 8 a.m. on Friday August 31, 9-1-1 dispatched units to Old Nunez Road and US bypass one for a crash involving two tractor trailer trucks.
