   On June 20, 2018, as part of Pollinator Week and at the invitation of the Emanuel County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee, Dr. Paul Cerpovicz and the bees of Bobcat Apiary at East Georgia State College visited Franklin Memorial Library in Swainsboro. EAC Art Camp 2018 a huge success

   Emanuel Arts Council (EAC) held its annual Art Camp on June 25-27 at the Sudie Fulford Community Learning Center of East Georgia State College. The camp was for students in rising third through sixth grades and was facilitated by Mark Lillquist, art teacher at Emanuel County Institute.

Willow Springs celebrates Member of the Quarter

   Recently, Willow Springs Missionary Baptist Church announced Corine W. Hampton as Member of the Quarter for its second quarter.

   Each quarter, the church selects a deserving member to highlight for their contributions to ministry. In doing so, each individual is recognized during morning service, where they receive a certificate and monetary gift.

Stillmore First Baptist announces anniversary

Minding Your Manners – Etiquette camp for girls

   Community Action for Youth Inc. and management of The Edenfield House have partnered to sponsor an etiquette camp for girls on July 17-19, 2018. The camp have two age groups for girls.
