Czech named counselor at EGSC-Swainsboro

East Georgia State College is proud to announce the hiring of a new counselor for their Swainsboro campus, Melinda “Mindy” Czech.

“Ms. Czech comes with a wealth of experience working with individuals and groups, and she is excited to support student mental wellness and welcomes students in need of counseling services,” said Dr. Tori Kearns, Interim Assistant Director of Counseling and Disability Services at EGSC.

Cameron Kea, a recent honor graduate of Swainsboro High School and son of Rusty and April Kea, was recently awarded the James W. Buckley Leadership Scholarship at East Georgia State College. Two airlifted from spectacular I-16 crash

Fire damages home in Dellwood

Kiwanis scholarship new to EGSC

   The Swainsboro Kiwanis Club recently established the Kiwanis Club of Swainsboro Leadership and Legacy Scholarship at East Georgia State College. The scholarship will begin this fall term, and the monetary award will go to a full time student with a 3.0 or better GPA at EGSC.
