Five elementary runners from David Emanuel Academy finished in the top 10 at a recent meet held at Edmund Burke Academy. Ben Griner placed first, Karson Kettles took fourth, Madeline Griner earned fifth, Halli Hammock finished seventh, and Rayleigh Faircloth placed ninth.

Students in first grade at Twin City Elementary recently completed a book character project using pumpkins in which they were asked to choose a character from a book they had read, then use a real pumpkin of any size to decorate as that character.

After several weeks off, drivers and fans were anxious for some dirt track racing Dixie Style at Swainsboro Raceway Saturday night, October 27.
