Good Shepherd Episcopal Church is now holding its annual fall apple fundraiser. Varieties include gala, red delicious, yellow delicious, Granny Smith, winesap, and Rome apples for $30 per box or $15 per half box. Orders are being taken now. A Swainsboro, Ga., man has been sentenced to more than 10 years in federal prison for his role in a drug trafficking operation that distributed cocaine and crack cocaine in Emanuel and Richmond counties.
