Swainsboro Christmas Parade this Thursday

Swainsboro will officially swing into the holiday season as the annual Christmas parade rolls through town this Thursday, December 6.

The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. in downtown Swainsboro, starting south of Harvey’s Supermarket on South Main Street, flowing north to West Pine Street, and then ending at Swainsboro First Baptist Church.

   Graveside services for Eugene Glover, 81, of Louisville were held Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Wadley Cemetery with Reverend Franklin Sasser officiating. He died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Pruitt Health Old Capitol.

   Funeral services for Betty Love Poole, 80, were held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Soperton Trinity Assembly of God with Reverend Albert White and Reverend Morris Brantley officiating.
