On Thursday, March 7, Emanuel County 911 dispatched emergency personnel to Highway 57 in reference to a two-vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, a Hyundai car was found inside the rear-end of a cattle trailer transporting cows. At the time, it was reported that the driver of the Hyundai did not notice the truck carrying cattle was attempting to make a turn, which resulted in the crash.

The Swainsboro Kiwanis Club met Tuesday, March 5, at 7 p.m. at Catered Creations. Joining the 22 members was guest Ashley Riner, a detective for Swainsboro Police Department.
