Reunion for Akridge family to be held

Descendants of Jim and Trudie Akridge are invited to the Akridge Family Reunion on Sunday, March 3, at noon. The reunion will be held at the Swainsboro Jaycees Fairgrounds, located on Fairground Road. A covered dish lunch will be served.

Howell family welcomes baby Walker Lane

Proud parents Chase and Lindsey Howell of Kite are pleased to announces the birth of their son, Walker Lane Howell. Born on January 15, 2019 at 12:10 p.m. at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, he weighed 8 lbs., 9 oz., and was 21 3/4” long.
