Rising senior and Swainsboro High School student Jessalynn Young has been accepted to 21st Century Leaders’ competitive Summer Youth Leadership Institute (SYLI).

SYLI is a week-long dynamic and business-focused leadership development program held the first week of June at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Young is one of only 75 students selected for the program.

Students in Patty Collins’ first grade class at Twin City Elementary had a special visit from Emanuel County Young Farmer teacher John Harrison.

Members of the Wiregrass, Brier Creek, and Col. William Few chapters traveled to Screven County on Saturday, March 30, to participate in the Screven County Livestock Festival Parade.
