Driver injured in log truck wreck

The driver of an 18-wheel log truck was injured in a spectacular crash on Thursday, June 20.

Around 8:45 a.m., emergency units from Emanuel County EMS, fire-rescue, the sheriff’s office, and troopers from Post 19 were dispatched to Highway 57 West by Bird Flanders Road.

Food pantry in Swainsboro to be open June 27
