Eagles drops season opener to CFCA

Inclement weather literally put a damper on David Emanuel Academy’s baseball schedule. The Eagles were supposed to open their season against Covenant Academy on March 1 and their second game was supposed to be against The Habersham School on March 5, but Mother Nature had other plans. Croft talks to DAR members about Stallings Island

Patricia Croft was the guest speaker at a recent Governor David Emanuel-Adam Brinson Chapter meeting. She spoke about Stallings Island and the valuable clues it holds about early life along the Savannah River near Augusta.

In the February 27 edition of The Forest-Blade, an error was reported with the Swainsboro Prayer Walk article. It read participants will write decrees on flags and strategically place them around the park to serve as alters. The decrees will already be written upon these flags and displayed amongst the area.
