Revival, homecoming to be held at McLeod Covenant

On Friday, June 14, at 7:30 p.m., McLeod Covenant Baptist Church will hold its annual revival. The church’s very own Pastor Robert Fullwood will bring the Word of God.

Adrian Baptist Church hosted a spectacular recital for Sue Page’s pianists on Sunday, May 19, at 3 p.m. with a reception following.

Those performing were Sam Lawrence, Lyla Brantley, Lola Walden, Alexis Wilkes, Timothy Current, Katie Salter, Mary Cate Zurek, Grace Moore, Jonah Boatright, Lexsy Brown, Kaylee Moore, Emma Grace English, Anna Kade Clemens, India Cummings, Trevor Current, Dak Hardin, Kayla Powell, Wallee Kersey, and Jack Hagans.

   Mrs. Hazel M. Nasworthy, 81, of Swainsboro, died Monday, June 10, 2019 at her residence. Nasworthy was born in Emanuel County, daughter of the late Willie G. Sconyers and Sallie Lee Brinson Sconyers.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter  Holly Brown.  Hazel was  a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
