CPR Fitness to offer free massages to cancer patients

CPR Fitness is proud to announce its participation in Sparks of Light Day. On Monday, November 5, CPR Fitness will be offering free Swedish massages to cancer patients from 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Two groups to perform at Safe Harbor

Safe Harbor Worship Center of Adrian will host a gospel sing featuring Sandra and Friends and Jordan’s River at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 10. Admission will be free, and a love offering will be collected.

Bryans visit park named after great-great-descendant

Recently, Cecilla and Brian Kane escorted their grandchildren, Langston and Copeland Bryan, to the area of Swainsboro to learn more on their family heritage. The highlight of their visit included a trip to Harmon Park, which was named after the Bryans’ great-great-grandfather, Frank B. Harmon.

One-way of Pine Street requires US 1 BU changes Monday

Local and state agency collaboration means traffic operational changes in downtown Swainsboro. A section of eastbound Pine Street will become one-way on Monday with supporting Main Street/US 1 BU signage and striping work at the intersection.

Monday morning Georgia Department of Transportation’s (GDOT) District Sign Shop will begin their work. Planned changes include:
