Local author to host meet-and-greet, book signing this weekend

   On Saturday, May 12, the public is invited to attend a meet-and-greet and book signing featuring local author Delane “Dede Lloyd” Washington and her book entitled “Dede’s Book of Poems: Anticipating the Thoughts of Others.” This event will take place at Robert’s Quick Stop N Shop, located at 202 W.    Volunteers at Calvary United Methodist Church are busy preparing for Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2018, entitled “Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus.” The event is slated for Saturday, May 19.
