The Rotary Club of Swainsboro held its December 4, 2017 meeting at Catered Creations in Swainsboro.

The meeting was dedicated to the visiting 2017-2018 Rotary District Governor, Hamsa Thota.  Accompanying Mr. Thota on his visit to Swainsboro Rotary was Eugenia Powell, Rotary Assistant Governor.

Shop With A Cop registration open until December 15

   Swainsboro Police Department’s annual Shop With A Cop program is getting ready to kick off for Christmas 2017. The program benefits needy children in the community. Each child will shop at Walmart with an office. Applications can be picked up at Swainsboro Police Department. The deadline to apply is December 15 at 4 p.m.

Student Costume Contest Winners

Southeastern Technical College students and faculty/staff have been participating in #STCSpiritWeek. The lineup of events included #ManicMonday, #TakeMeBackTuesday, #Whimsical Wednesday, and #ThinkPositiveThursday.
