An Emanuel County sheriff’s deputy is recovering from injuries received during an investigation.
According to Chief Deputy Rocky Davis, on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at approximately 11:45am, deputies were dispatched to the Dollar General store in Oak Park in reference to a report of a suspicious person.

The Adrian branch of the United States Post Office received the Wiregrass Chapter’s 33rd U.S. Flag Certificate. Chair Al Smith presented the certificate of commendation to Clint Braswell, Adrian postmaster, on March 11.

The driver of a white Toyota Corolla received minor injuries when she struck the rear of a truck. She was protected by her seatbelt as well as the air bags.
The crash occurred on Friday, November 30, on Highway 23 North in Garfield. Emanuel County EMS and Emanuel County sheriff’s deputies responded, along with troopers from Post 19 of the Georgia State Patrol, who investigated the wreck.
